Which MyOmega Supplement is Right for Me & My Baby?

We determine this via a simple test (with different tests available depending on whether you’re trying to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding), before providing you with a personalised Omega-3 supplement recommendation for you and your baby.


How Does to Test Your Omega-3 Levels


With our test kits, you measure your omega-3 levels at home, then modify your diet based on your results.


Once the test is complete, send it back to us with free postage using the return envelope provided and we will pass those on to our partners OmegaQuant, who will analyse the results at their Sterling University lab.


What MyOmega Tests are Available?


We have two MyOmega test kits available: the MINAMI® MyOmega Prenatal Mother & Baby DHA Test and the MINAMI® MyOmega Postnatal Mother’s Milk DHA Test.



Prenatal Omega-3 Testing


We advise taking the MINAMI® MyOmega Prenatal DHA Test when you’re trying to conceive and also during pregnancy. It’s a simple blood test that measures the level of DHA in your blood.


Postnatal Omega-3 Testing


Post-pregnancy, you can take the MyOmega Mother’s Milk DHA test, which measures the levels of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) in your breast milk.


All testing can be done safely, easily and pain-free from the comfort of your own home, as only 1 drop of milk is needed for you to get your personalised results.

Once you’ve taken your MyOmega Test and received your results, you can choose from our range of Omega-3 supplements to find the one that suits your individual needs best, so you can personalise your Omega-3 intake to optimise your level in as little as 8-12 weeks.

Each of our MINAMI® MyOmega Pre & Postnatal Omega-3 supplements offers a high concentration of ultra-pure Omega-3 with different quantities of DHA and EPA to suit your personal needs and is designed to help support your Omega-3 intake before conception, during and after pregnancy:




Each supplement contains EPA and DHA, which play a key role in visual and cognitive development during gestation and help expectant mothers to maintain a healthy heart. DHA is also proven to help with normal eye and brain development in unborn children and breastfed infants.


The beneficial effect of the DHA is obtained with a daily intake of at least 200mg DHA, alongside the usual recommended daily intake for omega-3 fatty acids for adults of 250mg DHA and EPA.


How to Find the Right Omega-3 Supplement for You


If you’re not quite sure where to begin with MyOmega, we offer both pre and postnatal starter packs, which will contain either a Prenatal DHA Test or Mother’s Milk DHA Test, along with an Omega-3 starter dose with the minimum amount of 200 mg DHA recommended when you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.


This means you can begin supporting your baby’s DHA levels while you’re waiting for your lab test results and your personalised omega-3 recommendation.
